Arts in Education:
Committee is responsible for selecting assemblies and working with staff to schedule them for the school year.

Boo Dance:
Committee is responsible for organizing our "Say Boo to Drugs" Halloween Party. (ex: decorating and ticket sales)

Book Fair:
Committee is responsible for ordering, checking inventory, and helping the students select books at our week long fair.

Box Tops for Education :
Committee is responsible for submitting Box Tops collected from our families.

Campbell Soup Labels:
Committee is responsible for submitting Campbell Soup Labels collected from our families.

Cookie Dough/Pizza Kit Fundraiser:
Committee is responsible for collecting and submitting orders and then distributing them when they arrive.

Fashion Show:
Committee is responsible for organizing this adult evening fundraiser. They canvas the community for donations to be auctioned.

Field Day:
Committee is responsible for working with school staff to organize the events. They also order the t-shirts to be worn that day.

Flower Sale:
Committee is responsible for organizing a week long plant sale in May. Committee needs to help unload the flowers off the truck.

Gift Wrap Fundraiser:
Committee is responsible for collecting and submitting orders and then distributing them when they arrive.

Holiday Boutique:
Committee is responsible for a week long holiday shopping event held at our school. The committee selects the items and labels them with prices tags. They also help the children select items to purchase.

Honorary Life:
Honorary Life is an award given by New York State PTA to a community member who goes above and beyond for our children. The committee is responsible for requesting letters of nominations from PTA members and choosing the winner.

Hospitality:
Committee is responsible for setting up the refreshments before each PTA meeting.

Membership:
Committee is responsible for collecting dues, filling out membership cards and encouraging everyone to join PTA.

Newsletter:
Committee is responsible for collecting news from classrooms, PTA and other areas of interest to publish in our newsletter.

Parent/Child Bowl:
Committee is responsible for coordinating teams, refreshments and handing out trophies at this annual event.

PARP:
Committee is responsible for establishing ideas to coordinate with a yearly theme. They also keep track of the three week reading contest. Author/Illustrator night is handled by this committee also, this involves inviting local Authors to our school to meet and greet the children.

Picture Day:
Committee coordinates the scheduling for the week, makes sure the children all get their photos taken and then collects and distributes the orders.

Pre-School:
Committee is responsible for introducing the incoming Kindergartners to East Broadway prior to them starting their school year.

Publicity:
Committee is responsible for taking pictures at school events, displaying them in the hallway and submitting them to local newspapers.

RebRibbon/Smokehouse:
Committee is responsible for organizing a themed, weeklong promotion of healthy lifestyle choices.

Reflections:
Committee is responsible for supporting the yearly theme of New York State PTA. They coordinate and submit all entries collected from our students.

School Kidz:
Committee is responsible for taking orders for school supply kits and distributing the orders when they come in over the summer. The teachers let the committee know what supplies will be needed for each grade.

Special Events:
Committee is responsible for coordinating the Valentine Dance and Wacky Olympics.

Step-Up Day:
Committee is responsible for decorating and getting the refreshments for the party that takes place immediately after the fifth graders step-up.

Staff Recognition:
Committee is responsible for coordinating the luncheon to honor our staff.

Yearbook:
Committee is responsible for creating the 5 ^th grade yearbook.

Blood Drive:
Committee is responsible for encouraging our schools blood drive participation at LMEC twice a year.

Council Budget:
Committee members bring the needs of East Broadway to the table at a district meeting monthly.

Dollars for Scholars:
Committee is responsible for collecting funds and bringing them to the district meetings. The money is used for scholarships for seniors in our district.

Elementary Curriculum:
Committee meets once a month to discuss current educational topics at the elementary level.

Food Service:
Committee is responsible for bringing concerns in regard to the food that is offered in our cafeteria to the monthly meeting

LEADD:
Levittown Education Against Destructive Decisions. Committee is responsible for running the booth at the LEADD Fair and working with staff members to coordinate programs for the children that promote healthy decision making during this week long event.

Secondary Curriculum:
Committee meets once a month to discuss current educational topics at the secondary level.

SEPTA:
Special Education Parent Teacher Association. Committee members work with SEPTA and discuss Special Ed issues.

Committee members are responsible for keeping our webpage on the district website filled with up to date information and photos.
