In addition to the periodic fundraisers that the East Broadway PTA holds, there are recurring, year-round programs / fundraisers that are easy to participate in and help your school just as much!

Box Tops for Education
You can participate by simply clipping the 'Box Tops' labels off participating products. Send them into the main office at school in an envelope or baggie marked 'Box Tops'. Each one earns us 10 cents. Some examples include: Avery, Betty Crocker, Bisquick, Brita, Cheerios, Chex, Cottonelle, Fiber One, Fruit Flavored Shapes, Gold Medal, Golden Grahams, Green Giant, Hefty, Kleenex, Land O Lakes, Nature Valley, Nestle Juice, Old El Paso, Pillsbury, Progresso, Total, Viva, Welch's, YoPlait. Labels for Education
Labels for Education is formerly Campbell’s Soup Labels, and you can participate by simply collecting the UPC symbols from: BIC, Campbell's, Franco American, Pepperidge Farm, Pop Secret, Post Cereal, Prego, SpaghettiOs, Swanson, V8 as well as Wolfgang Puck products and send them into the school in an envelope or baggie marked 'Labels for Education'. Each UPC code earns us points towards merchandise for East Broadway! See the detailed list of participating products.

TerraCycle
TerraCycle's purpose is to eliminate the idea of waste. They do this by creating national recycling systems for previously non-recyclable or hard-to-recycle waste. TerraCycle converts the collected waste into a wide variety of products and materials.
How TerraCycle Works:
We created several waste collection programs where we pay for the shipping. Some examples are listed below, please visit the Terracycle website for complete details and programs.

The TerraCycle Drink Pouch Brigade program allows almost any school, non-profit organization or individual to save drink pouches from taking up space in landfills. For each approved Capri Sun and/or Honestkids juice pouch received, your Collection Location will be awarded two TerraCycle points which can be redeemed for a variety of charitable gifts or for a payment of $0.02 to the non-profit organization or school of your choice.

TerraCycle® is proud to partner with Nabisco® and Keebler® to create a second life for cookie wrappers. For each approved cookie package received, your Collection Location will be awarded two TerraCycle points which can be redeemed for a variety of charitable gifts or for a payment of $0.02 to the non-profit organization or school of your choice.

TerraCycle® Chip Bag Brigade® has partnered with Frito-Lay® to provide a second life for used chip bags. Frito-Lay® understands the need to protect the earth.
With more than 20 million people collecting waste in 14 countries TerraCycle has diverted billions of units of waste and used them to create over 1,500 different products available at major retailers. Our goal is to eliminate the idea of waste by creating collection and solution systems for anything that today must be sent to a landfill.

Stop and Shop A+ School Rewards
A+ School Rewards are points that accrue with each purchase using the Stop & Shop Card. At the end of each month, the A+ School Rewards are used in a calculation to determine your school's cash total, which, then, is automatically credited to your school's account. Customers can support up to three schools to benefit from the A+ School Rewards that accrue.
All you have to do is:

OR Dial 1-877-275-2758 to register your card over the phone
After you register your card, each shopping trip at Stop & Shop using your Stop & Shop Card earns CASH for East Broadway! Each month, the amount of CASH awarded will be updated on the Stop & Shop website. You can track the amount of points you earn for our school by checking your grocery receipt and online when you create an account at www.stopandshop.com. East Broadway will receive a check at the end of the program. The money can be used for any of our school’s educational needs.
Remember, even if you registered your card last year, you must re-register this year for our school to receive credit.
