Lee Road School recently held a Terrific Kids Assembly for fifth grade students. Sponsored by the Levittown Kiwanis Club, the program recognizes students that demonstrate the outstanding character traits established by the Kiwanis organization. The traits are as follows: Thoughtful, Enthusiastic, Respectful, Responsible, Involved, Friendly, Industrious and Caring. On hand to honor and present certificates the recipients were Kiwanis President Diane Torcivea, Town of Hempstead Supervisor Kate Murray and Levittown School Board President Mike Pappas. Congratulations to the following students: Jennifer Mullane, Maheer Quasem, Nicole Weber, Nicole Fioretti, George Mavrommatis and Yolanda Scurto.
