LEADD week was a huge success. First graders learned tools to help them make wise choices for a healthy lifestyle. The importance of conserving energy, recycling and reusing were discussed during our Earth Day lessons. These lessons were reinforced by poems, books and the Scholastic News magazine.

Even though we can't tell by the weather, Spring has definitely arrived in the first grade. We have written stories, poems and created art projects relating to Spring. The students are excited to share their work with parents during their class Spring Celebration.

The first grade is looking forward to creating projects for our upcoming Spring Exhibit. We hope it brings the warm weather with it!
