Lee Road Community Service honors some very special students with a Hero Award (an acronym for Help Others Respect Everyone). This award was created to recognize children who perform or organize community service projects or deeds that truly go above and beyond simple acts of kindness. Fifth graders Kristina Muckle and Doriana Cardon volunteered their time to raise money and participate in a 5k Family Fun Walk for A-T. They walked to raise money for a neighbor's granddaughter who has this rare and serious disease. Through their selfless actions, these children have made our world a brighter and better place.
