Dear Northside Families,

As we approach the end of the school year, many exciting events will be taking place at Northside and in the Levittown School District. The district’s LEADD Walk and Fair was held on March 30, 2008. LEADD stands for Levittown Education Against Destructive Decisions. Special assemblies were planned at Northside for the children to educate them in making sound decisions. A special thank you is extended to Mrs. Galtieri and her committee for all of their hard work in preparing for this week long event.

Also, Northside had their Coldstone Creamery Fundraiser that was well supported by the Northside families. As I have I stated in the past, it is refreshing to be a member of the Northside community and witness the unity and integrity that the families have towards supporting the school. Please join me in thanking Mrs. Ungar for her efforts in the planning of this school-wide event . Our fifth grade students attended the traditional Huguenot Camp Greenkill trip the week of April 14-18. This voluntary field trip allows the students to participate in various outdoor education activities. The students returned safely to a warm homecoming on April 18th. On the topic of fifth grade, this year the Moving-Up Ceremony will be on June 25th at Wisdom Lane Middle School.

Other important dates for the remainder of the school year that have been scheduled are as follows; Spring Concert, May 19th
Play- Mulan, June 4th
Field Day, June 13th /rain date, June 16th
