Wisdom Lane's Science Olympiad Team competed in the state competition on April 21st at SUNY Ulster.

Dissecting frogs is, at times, not the most pleasant science activity. At Wisdom Lane Elementary School, however, this rite of passage is met with a weeklong schedule of projects and fun during annual Frog Week.

Wisdom Lane Middle School and the Science Olympiad would like to Congratulate Mrs. Fusco and Taranjit Parmar for winning the Third Annual Science Olympiad Badminton Tournament.

Wisdom qualified for the State Tournament for the ninth straight year while winning 38 medals in fifteen out of twenty one different events.

Social studies students at Wisdom Lane Middle School in the Levittown School District attended an assembly in which four marines spoke about leading a positive life and their experiences in the military.

Four students from Mrs.Katcher's 8th grade band were accepted into the Division 3 All-County Band and Orchestra. The students selected were Alvin Shin (clarinet), Anna Yoo (flute), Jessica Wagner (flute), and Matthew Roux (trumpet).

Laura Koenig, 6th grade teacher at Wisdom Lane Middle School is pleased to announce the results of this year's Math-A-Thon.

IDC students decorated a tree for the LI Festival of Trees. The tree was on display Thanksgiving weekend at the Cradle of Aviation museum. The tree was auctioned off and proceeds went to United Cerebral Palsy of Nassau County.

Over 100 eighth grade students participated in Wisdom Lanes Amazing Race on November 10.

Wisdom Lanes Family Game Night sponsored by the National Junior Honor Society raised $1800 on October 27, 2011. The proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
