The students of Gardiners Avenue are extremely excited to be learning/re-learning Volleyball Skills.? The students in grades K-5 have been working in their classes individually and with their classmates on the various different volleyball skills: ?Bump, set, underhand serve and overhand serve.? The students will focus on these various skills individually and with their classmates during such game challenges as Clean out the Attic, Keep it Up, Magic Number, Pattern Pass and Newcomb.? The students have to work together by strategizing, brainstorming ideas, implementing their ideas, and communicating with each other. The best part of the various challenges is that the students really work together to be successful and they truly have a great time while playing the games.? I enjoy watching the students implement the volleyball skills and love to watch them adapt their ideas if they don't work.?
