Kindergarteners at Lee Road Elementary School in the Levittown Public School District have had a busy December working on seasonal-themed projects.
To help animals that hibernate, students collected leaves and sticks to makes nests. In math, children learned how to categorize and sort by different attributes, and they practiced addition by making a color-coded reindeer. Students also completed a STEM challenge to see who could build the tallest tower using cups and popsicle sticks. For the holidays, craft elves and wreaths were taken home.
