Students at Lee Road Elementary School in the Levittown Public School District were excited to
mark Poetry Month by reading and writing numerous poems of varying formats.
Fifth graders in Valarie Dillon's and Eileen Vogel's classes celebrated Poetry Month by creating their own book of poems. The books were filled with creative haikus, chinquapins, acrostic, alliteration and concrete poetry, displaying all the skills students have learned while exploring works of poetry.
