Along with her Key Club peers, Sarah raised more than $28,000, leading to her nomination for a Student Visionaries of the Year Award.

Sarah has supported the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society since she became a member of the Key Club in her freshman year and is inspired by her own family members who have battled cancer. To seek fundraising support, Sarah led efforts to reach out to community members, presenting to the Levittown Kiwanis and Chamber of Commerce and to Levittown Schools Superintendent Todd Winch. She also received support from Pat's Pizza in Levittown. Over seven weeks, Sarah and her team raised $28,936, which went towards patient education and support. Honoring her aunt who passed away from leukemia, Sarah named her fundraising team Suzie's Angels.

Sarah was nominated by Key Club advisor Joann Medina for the Student Visionaries of the Year Award. At a ceremony held on March 27, Sarah was recognized as an elite candidate for sending out over 100 emails and 50 letters and holding goal planning meetings. The district commends Sarah for her extraordinary efforts and success.
