On Monday, March 2, Gardiners Avenue Band and Orchestra students presented during an assembly for our 2nd grade classes to introduce the instruments they play. During the assembly, students spoke about their instruments, demonstrated the sounds they can make, and performed short/simple pieces. All of the instruments showcased are available for 2nd grade students to choose when they begin instrumental lessons in 3rd grade. We hope many of our current 2nd graders will join the band and orchestra program this fall!
