On Tuesday, 4/21, nine MacArthur Science Research students competed at the Long Island Science Congress, which took place at the Cradle of Aviation in Garden City. The students went up against hundreds of other high school students from across the island. The presented their work to multiple judges, and they were scored and ranked against other students competing in their categories. The various categories were Ecology; Earth, Space, and Energy; Biology; Chemistry; Physics; and Engineering, Technology, and Scientific Computing. Congratulations to the following participants: Alex Xu, Giavanna Riker, Anaaya Khan, Aarosh Khan, Marina Sorial, Ian Bellis, Logan Rodriguez, Sal Inetti, and Danny Islam. The results will be announced next month.
