Mrs. Suriano's 3rd grade class went to the Outdoor Learning Center! The students tested dirt samples PH levels and compared them to specific plant food samples that would turn Hydrangea flowers specific colors. After the experiment, the students had an opportunity to see the plants in the greenhouse and the wildlife there. They saw tulips, strawberries, and carrots! They saw male and female ducks-they even got to see a female duck sitting on her nest in camouflage!
