The DAHS Music Department staff is proud to announce that 13 students were selected to participate at the All-County Music Festival this coming January at C.W. Post University.

DAHS Marching Band Ends Season On a Road Trip

At around 4 am on Saturday, October 25th, the Competitive Marching Band from Division Avenue loaded their buses and truck and headed off for a "whirlwind of a weekend", upstate with their staff, chaperones, and a bus of family and supporters in tow.

Division's National Art Honor Society Participates in "Alex's Run For A Reason"

The National Art Honor Society of Division Avenue High School in Levittown attended and participated in the 2nd annual Alex' Run For A Reason- a fundraising event to benefit the Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC) Program.

Levittown, New York- October 22, 2008- Division Avenue High School students from the Family and Consumer Sciences program had the pleasure of meeting Mars, the pet therapy dog, and his handler Ms. Daria Iwanczuk.

DAHS Salutes 67 AP Scholars

Division Avenue High School was the proud recipient of news that 43 members of the Class of 2008, along with 24 current students, had been named AP Scholar, AP Scholar with Honor, AP Scholar with Distinction and - one of the highest honors - National AP Scholar.

The DAHS cafeteria was the scene once again on Wednesday, October 22 of a college mini-fair arranged by the Guidance Department under the direction of Maura O'Sullivan, Chairperson.

On Sunday, October 19, 2008 the Division Avenue High School Competitive Marching Band continued their reign as the USSBA Group 3A State Champions by taking first place and sweeping all special categories at the competition held at Mitchell Field.

On Tuesday, September 23rd, the Division Avenue High School AP Biology class went on a field trip to the Nassau BOCES Environmental Education Center at Caumsett State Park in Lloyd Harbor. Students traversed through a salt marsh, led by teacher Kim Foglia and a Nassau BOCES naturalist.
