Generals March On To New York State Science Olympiad Finals
Lead by team captains, Zarif Jamal (12th grade), Melody Hong (11th grade), and Catherine Purirojejananon (10th grade), the MacArthur Science Olympiad team took home the Nassau East 5th place qualifying trophy, securing a berth at the New York State tournament. The team will travel to Le Moyne College in Syracuse on March 15 to compete against New York's top 60 teams to determine the Top 10 in New York State for each event and a chance to represent New York at the National Tournament.
