Division Avenue High School hosted the Nassau East Science Olympiad Tournament on January 31st, 2026.? Forty-four teams throughout Nassau County put their knowledge to the test across twenty-four science events.

Our students hard work and dedication allowed them to earn medals in 18 of 24 events. Bronze medals were earned in Circuit Lab, Dynamic Planet, Electric Vehicle and Forensics. Silver medals were earned in Bungee Drop and Electric Vehicle. Gold medals were earned in Ping Pong Parachute, Rocks & Minerals, and Robot Tour.

The DAHS Science Olympiad team continued the streak, earning their 18th consecutive invite to the NYS Finals, at LeMoyne College in March. Congratulations and best of luck at STATES!
