The impressive feats of the Levittown School District's many high school athletes were applauded during the April 22 board of education meeting.

Dozens of student athletes from Division Avenue and General Douglas MacArthur high school and their families were in attendance to celebrate their successes. The night of recognition included members of the basketball, bowling, cheerleading, football, swimming, track and wrestling teams, as well as the MacArthur Challenger bowling team. Among the honors were All-County, All-Conference and All-State athletes and teams. Each athlete received a certificate for their efforts.

The district commends these talented athletes for their dedication and perseverance.
