The fourth graders in Ms. Kissane's class had a great time creating their pumpkin characters! Students read a book and designed a pumpkin based on a character in their story. They wrote a story map, described character traits, and summarized their book. Students chose all types of books, from Dog Man to The One and Only Ruby . They used many different materials to create their pumpkins. Some even lit up! The fourth graders presented their pumpkins to the class. A great time was had by all!
