In March, Ms. Perruzza's kindergarten students sorted and graphed their Lucky Charms marshmallows. The class worked together in math groups, sorting each marshmallow by type and then counting the number of each type using one-to-one correspondence. After graphing their final totals, the group discussed which type of marshmallow they had the most of, the least of, and if any quantities were equal. They had so much fun and were even able to enjoy some yummy marshmallows after all their hard work!
