During the month of May, Ms. Borst's third grade students learned about the life cycle of animals and plants in science. The students specifically studied the life cycle of butterflies. They learned about the different stages they go through. When the butterflies finally emerged from their chrysalises, we released them outside. The children loved watching the caterpillars eat, grow and go through metamorphosis to become beautiful, healthy butterflies!
